Rumors and legends are among the oldest forms of transmitting intangible cultural heritage. Selected stories from the Jizera and Zittau Mountains come to life on the virtual pilgrimage trail - often the same rumor or variants of the same rumor are associated with different places on the Czech and German sides of the trail, whether it is about the wandering witches, the White Lady, or buried treasures. Thanks to augmented reality, these stories can be directly experienced in the landscape and reinterpreted.
The territory between Bohemia and Lusatia has been influenced by mutual migration for centuries. The cultural connection is reflected, for example, in Zittau ceramics, which bear Czech influences, brought with them, among others, by the Czech and Moravian brothers led by Christian David in the post-White Mountains period. The exhibition at the rectory in Krásná brings this relationship closer and recalls the stories of those who transferred culture across the border and with it their art.

Romantic landscape painters of the 18th and 19th centuries depicted the Bohemian-Saxon borderland as a space of transformation and inner recollection. Their paintings often feature motifs of nature and ruins, with Oybin and its surroundings being a particularly popular destination. The project makes these works of art digitally accessible and shows their current significance for today's perception of landscape and spirituality.
The Euroregion Neisse is rich in historical pilgrimage sites, which had a social and cultural function in addition to religious ones. Pilgrims have visited them for centuries and their traditions have shaped folk customs and collective memory. The project presents these sites as an important source of intangible heritage and places them in a cross-border framework - mediated by the digital form of a pilgrimage trail.
